There's nothing better than fresh flowers to remind you that it's still glorious and warm outside!

A few weeks ago, my mom and I went to the National Arboretum. A D.C.-area native, I had never been there. It was GORGEOUS and well worth the trip.

If you are visiting the area, please make a stop and check it out. Bring a picnic, and shoes to walk the gardens, and SPF and soak up August!

  1. Wow, this looks GORGEOUS! I am actually headed to DC for a long weekend next Thursday and we've been planning our itinerary. Might have to add this to it! :)

    1. Thanks for the comment Laura! It's a little out of the way but you will love it if the weather is nice!

If you're here on Friday you should go to Jazz in the Sculpture Garden at the Smithsonian. It's a free outdoor jazz concert and it's awesome! Get there early (4ish so you can get a good spot) and bring snacks. They have Sangria and Beer stands there!
